The pace of exploration and pursuit of happiness by scholars of all ages, both at home and abroad, has never stopped. The development of human history is actually a process in which mankind continuously creates and realizes happiness. This article attempts to explore and discuss Marx's concept of happiness and its contemporary value from the perspective of Marxist philosophy. It explores his theory of happiness from Marx's classic works, and analyzes and combs the essence of Marx's concept of happiness and Marx's happiness.Viewing the current practical significance, this has important theoretical and practical significance for building a happy society in contemporary China. This paper is divided into five chapters.First of all,it briefly analyzes the connotation and characteristics of happiness,Marx's previous concepts of happiness-rationalistic happiness and perceptual happiness, utilitarianism, and moralistic happiness.Marx's happiness the concept was formed on the basis of critically absorbing the ideas of predecessors' happiness.Second,a deeper analysis of the concrete connotation of Marx's concept of happiness, based on the existing text works, through the exploration of the formation and development of Marx's concept of Happiness.Since his boyhood,Marx has taken the realization of the well-being of all mankind as his professional ideal. His concept of happiness runs through his life.In his"Critique of Hegelian Philosophy," he proposed that human happiness is a process of self-generation in real life.In the "Economic and Philosophical Manuscripts of 1844",Marx believed that under the conditions of capitalist private ownership, only by overcoming alienation can we achieve happiness. In the "German Ideology",the realistic personal perceptual activity is the starting point of Marx's concept of happiness.Personal freedom is the best condition for the pursuit of happiness.People can only obtain happiness in the real collective.Marx also emphasized that the free and comprehensive development of human beings must be achieved through the liberation of the proletariat and the establishment of a new society. This is also the ultimate goal of human happiness.Furthermore, the main content of Marx's concept of happiness is described.Marx's concept of happiness represents the concept of happiness of the proletariat, the unity of individual happiness and social happiness, the unity of labor creation and enjoyment of life, and the unity of material happiness and spiritual happiness.Labor has always been the ultimate goal of Marx's happy thoughts.People's needs are the inner motivation for the pursuit of happiness. The free and comprehensive development of human beings is the ultimate goal of human beings' pursuit of happiness. Finally,it analyzes the contemporary significance of Marx's concept of happiness.Studying the concept of happiness helps people to better understand happiness, grasp happiness, and then promote people to pursue higher levels of happiness.Based on the practice of human social life,Marx overcomes the abstract and one-sidedness of the understanding of the nature of happiness by the scientific analysis of the nature of human beings and the general laws of social and historical development, and establishes a scientific and comprehensive system of happiness. An in-depth analysis of Marx's concept of happiness is of great significance in guiding people to achieve a happy life and human social development, and to correctly understand the relationship between man and nature and society.
