A Comparison Between Dunhuang Community And Minority Social Organizations

As for an ancient folk a gross-roots social organization in China,civil associations have been existed since the pre-Qin period,and were thriving during the Tang Dynasty.With the excavation of documents on civil associations of Dunhuang,we could find civil association have their own management system and shetiao,so that they can regulate strictly interior members' behavior and maintain internal stability within the organization.In addition,the National Minorities have their own social organization in China,such as the organization of Kuan in Dong nationality,the Longwangshe of the adherents of the Xixia Dynasty,the Qingmiao group of the Tu nationality and the Jamaat of the Uyghur nationality.Similarly,these organizations have their own management system and strict discipline with the purpose of guaranteeing the stability of the Minority society.The thesis includes three chapters,it mainly compare the civil associations in Dunhuang with the social organization of the Minorities.The first chapter is to draw a parallel between the civil associations,Longwangshe of the adherents of the Xixia Dynasty and the organization of Kuan with a autonomous and self-defence organization.The parallel primarily involves the organization structure,the strict discipline and the function.Besides,I want to try to analyze the reasons why they have some difference.The second chapter is to compare the canal the civil associations with the Qingmiao group of the the Tu nationality.lt also is based on the organization structure,the strict discipline and the function.The third chapter is to make the contrast analysis between the Buddhist community of the civil associations in Dunhuang and the jamaat of the Uyghur nationality.As for a especial social organization,they have some difference in organization structure,the folk status and the function,so as to make a comparison with them.Lastly,I make compare with the three national minorities and try to discuss the difference and the reasons.In addition other national minorities in China have the similar social organization,they maintain the stability of the society and inherit and develop the traditional culture.
