Research On The Functions Of Singapore's Opposition Parties

As a democratic country in Southeast Asia,Singapore has an important influence in the international geopolitics and the world economic structure.At the same time,as a representative multi-party state in Asia,the experience of the development of its political party system has become an international research topic.Singapore's opposition party as a part of the country's party politics can not be ignored.This paper is divided into four parts.The first part begins with the connotation and function of the opposition party,and outlines the basic theory of the opposition party.The second part focuses on the development history and current situation of the opposition party in Singapore.The third part is the article.The key chapters are the specific performance and limitations of the Singapore opposition party to play its functional role;the last part summarizes the lessons learned from the role of Singapore's opposition parties in order to obtain some theoretical inspiration.
