Since China and Japan established diplomatic relations in 1972,Sino-Japanese relations can be described as ups and downs.As the two powerful countries in east Asia,the relations between China and Japan bears on the peace and stability of the whole east Asia.The relations between Chinese Communist Party and Japan opposition parties are more ancient than the relations between China and Japan,Japan's main opposition parties,(including Japan's Social Democratic Party,Japan New Komeito,the Japanese Communist Party,the Democratic Party of Japan)often show understanding and respect for China on some important fundamental issue,it also led to China's emphasis on the relations with Japan's opposition parties.Japanese party politics is special.The opposition parties in Japan are difficult to achieve regime change in the face of a dominant ruling party,so they tend to restrict and check the policies of the ruling party.In Sino-Japan relations,the Japanese opposition parties have played a similar role as a stabilizer of Sino-Japan relations.The Chinese communist party has helped Sino-Japan relations to overcome one obstacle after another through its diplomacy with the Japanese opposition parties.At the same time,the Japanese opposition parties have also made contributions to China's reform and opening up.Through the study of the Chinese Communist Party 's foreign policy towards the Japanese opposition parties,it can provide experience and lessons for the Chinese Communist Party's diplomacy towards opposition party in the future,and provide valuable enlightenment for the future relations between China and Japan.
