Legal Thinking On Community Police Mediation System

Community policing mediation is a dispute mediation model based on the theory of community policing,which is in nature a kind of administrative mediation.It has become a good way to resolve disputes in community but to its combination of flexibility and principle.With the acceleration of social development process,social contradictions are presenting a multi-field,diversified blowout growth trend,and the operation of community policing problems are becoming increasingly prominent Under this situation,community policing mediation plays a unique role in resolving resident contradictions,building a harmonious community,and improving the development strategy of community policing.Therefore,whether on the theoretical level or on the practical level,the study of community policing mediation is of great significance.Starting from the theory of community policing and the basic theory of mediation,this paper first expounds the connotation of community policing mediation,and reviews the theoretical research results at home and abroad to lay a theoretical foundation for this study.Secondly,based on the samples from Changdong Street Community of Qingjiangpu District in Huai'an City,this paper makes a questionnaire survey and on-the-spot investigation on community policing mediation.On the basis of in-depth investigation,this paper reveals the current situation of community police mediation.Finally,based on the theoretical preparations and empirical analysis above,this paper analyzes the problems of community police mediation,and puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to improve community police mediation from the aspects of standardizing the legal procedures of mediation,improving the legal quality and effectiveness of mediation,innovating the legal methods of mediation,and improving the legal mechanism of mediation.
