Exploration Of Social Work Services And Development Strategies In The Context Of Smart Home Care

In the current context of rapid aging,home-based care is still the main choice for the elderly in China’s urban and rural areas.In recent years,smart pension relies on information technology to inject new power into home-based pension service,which has become a new trend in pension practice.However,while providing real-time,fast,efficient and low-cost elderly care services,smart pension cannot meet the multi-level and diversified needs of the elderly.The elderly are the service groups concerned by social work,which has always been actively involved in the development of old-age care.Social work can make use of its professional advantages to provide valuable services in service fields that cannot be reached by smart pension technology.Therefore,in the context of the development of smart home care,how to combine the technology of smart home care with its own value and how to determine the way of participation and development strategy will become a forward-looking issue for social workers to think about.Taking Nanjing X organization as an example,this paper explores the service mode of social work in this context by sorting out the smart home care service of X organization,and finally puts forward the corresponding development strategies.First of all,by combing the exploration of organization X in the smart home care,the opinions of the elderly on the services provided by organization X and the smart home care were understood in the form of interviews,and the existing deficiencies were found.Secondly,starting from the current social work services,this paper discusses the effectiveness and shortcomings of social work services under the background of smart home care for the aged.On the one hand,the participation of social work to establish service archives for the elderly,improve the basic database;To improve the cognition of the aged;Meeting the diverse needs of the elderly;On the other hand,social workers’ role recognition is not high,they pay little attention to front-line pension service staff,social work has not been included in service evaluation,and the integration of pension service resources is insufficient.Finally,the corresponding development strategies are proposed:first,the government should give play to the guiding role of the industry,improve the system design,add social work elements into the evaluation of the smart home for the aged,promote the construction of the elderly service team by improving the talent policy,and strengthen the policy support and guidance.Second,social workers should actively participate in smart home care services,give full play to their professional advantages,clarify their own positioning,coordinate pension resources,strengthen team building,and pay more attention to elderly care workers.Thirdly,attach importance to the self-construction and needs of the elderly,strengthen the re-education of the elderly,improve the use of intelligent products for the elderly,and pay attention to the coordinated development of humanistic care in social work.Fourth,encourage social forces to participate in smart home care services,strive to develop social forces and seek multilateral cooperation.Therefore,it can be concluded that smart home care is only a supplement to home care,and the development of technology enriches the forms of home care services,but it cannot replace services.The services provided by social work in the context of smart home care need to be affirmed.At the same time,while adapting to the new form of old-age care,social workers need to think calmly about the attitude of participation and their own professionalism to promote the better development of smart home-based old-age care.
