With the further development of globalization,many political entities are increasingly becoming important members of international political diplomacy.They include the Congress,the military institutions within the government,interest groups,other countries,political and economic entities within country.American politics is influenced by interest groups at different levels,and various interest groups have become an indispensable part of the US political system with strong group capital.The military complex is the special existence of American interest groups and has different components and characteristics from other interest groups.It's linked to US foreign policy by its indirect influence on the national military budget and the support of arms traders for policies.The military-industrial complex enters the Congress and the executive branch to gain access to information and affect senior politicians.On the other hand,democratic elections support the selection of candidates who are in their own interests,and participate in political discussions to varying degrees through lobbying and revolving door systems.The military-industrial complex directly or indirectly affects country's preferences and foreign policy options.This paper considers the military-industrial complex,the most important interest group in the United States,as a variable.In order to analyze how it affects the formulation of US foreign policy in political operating system.The research hypothesis of this paper is that the military-industrial complex intends to transform the group's interests into national interests,which in turn affects national policies.Article will focus on how the military complex affects US political decision-making through how it works,emphasizing the reasons and interaction.The article consists of four parts.The first part discusses the development process of the military complex and analyzes the rise and current situation of the military complex.The second part will analyze the political system background of the United States and discuss the internal and external motivations of the military-industrial complex influencing US diplomacy.The third part explores how the military complex uses the "revolving door" system,out-of-hospital participation,direct lobbying,etc.to integrate the group's interests into the national interest,thus affecting US policy choices.The fourth part of the article selects the 9/11 incident and arms sales to Taiwan as case analysis.It mainly discusses how the military complex affects the US defense and armament policy through a series of specific activities,thus affecting the US foreign policy choice.
