Research On The Development Of The US-Australia Alliance After The Cold War

After the end of the Cold War,the international political situation has taken a profound change.The U.S.-Australia alliance takes a important role in the U.S.Asia-Pacific Alliance.It was born right after the Second World War.It takes more than 60 years for Australia to closely follow the United States,which makes a good difference for U.S.to keep global hegemony.In the 21 st century,the U.S.-Australian alliance not only failed to “sink” after the dissolution of the Soviet Union and the disappearance of its original targets,on the contrary,it has made some new developments,especially in the context of the US's strategy of “returning to the Asia-Pacific”.The alliance of cooperation has continuously been strengthened and deepen.What is its specific performance? what is the reason?
