Research On The Relationship Between Behavior Choice And Power Constraints

After World War II,with the Palestinian-Israeli issue floated to the surface and the founding of Israel on 14 May 1948,the relationship between Palestine and Israel has become one of the core issues in the Middle East,which has been closely bound up with the situation of the Middle East since then.After combing the history of the Palestinian-Israeli relations,it is not hard to find that Israel,as the stronger side,imposes tight control on Palestinian and its territory through its strong military power.While Palestinian,as the weaker side,is strongly controlled by Israel,and this kind of control is reflected in all aspects.On this basis,this thesis attempts to take Power Constructivism as theoretical framework,further deepen the study of the theory and make up for the insufficiency of present research on Palestinian-Israeli relations.From a more microscopic and meticulous view,this thesis takes the varieties of behavior choice of Palestinians as a breakthrough point,tries to clear the correlation between the varieties of behavior choice of Palestinians and the intensity of power constraints from Israel.If the correlation does exist,it is positive or negative? To what extent do they correlated? By answering these questions,this thesis will further prove whether we can use the varieties of behavior choice of the weaker side and the intensity of power constraints from the stronger side to measure the constraint intensity of power relationship structure.In order to achieve this goal,in the introduction part and chapter one,this thesis will clear its starting point through in-depth analysis of Power Constructivism.The core hypothesis,thesis statements and necessary definitions of important concepts will be present in the second part of this thesis.In the third part,this thesis will take the power construction of Palestinian-Israeli relations as a case to prove its hypothesis and statements.The last part is the conclusion part,and there will be a outlook for Palestinian-Israeli relations based on the conclusion of this thesis.
