Study On The Study Abroad Activities Of Fujian Shipbuilding Academy And The Construction Of Beiyang Navy In The Late Qing Dynasty

As a highlight of China’s educational history and military history,Fuzhou Shipbuilding Academy is a difficult sunrise in the second half of the 19th century,and it is an important reality for accelerating the modernization of China’s education and military modernization.value.To explore the Fuzhou Shipbuilding Academy,it is necessary to recollect the outstanding students of the Fujian Shipbuilding Academy to study in Europe and their deeds after returning to China.They will return to the historical scene,restore the collective portraits of European students,and analyze their modern Chinese modern style.The development of education and naval career is groundbreaking.On the basis of collecting a large amount of historical materials and summarizing the research results of the predecessors,this paper analyzes and discusses the basic situation of the official students who stayed in Europe during the Westernization Movement and the contribution of the ship administration to the European students to the new naval construction in the late Qing Dynasty.In the 1960s and 1970s,in the face of the strong Western influence and the occlusion of China and the experience of the first young children staying in the United States,it was imperative to send students to the country again,and official dispatch was always cautious.First,between 1866 and 1877,the Fujian Shipping Administration School sent a number of foreigners and ship administration students to buy equipment or send them to other countries.Secondly,after the introduction of the modernization course for many years,the School of Shipping has carefully selected and specially trained overseas students.In 1877,the first batch of Chinese officials in the modern era of the European Union finally took the ship to Europe.The study abroad is different from the young children who stayed in the United States a few years ago in terms of the age of international students,supervision and selection,funding for study abroad,and management.Studying abroad is only the beginning,and students in foreign countries are doing everything they can to bring advanced technology back to the motherland.In the 1980s,the European students returned to China,and a large number of them were selected to serve in the Beiyang Navy.They teach in a new school,train reserve talents for modern naval development,train a new naval fleet as a ship commander,or serve as a warship design engineer,create world-class warships for modern navies,or enlighten people’s wisdom in modern Chinese ideology and culture..The ship administration stayed in Europe was a relatively special group in the Guangxu period of the late Qing Dynasty.Most of them came from Fujian.The young people received traditional Chinese education.They studied abroad during their youth.The Chinese and Western cultures constantly reconcile and seek balance in their hearts.This article also selected three representative shipowners to stay in Europe:Sa Zhenbing Yan Fu and Chen Jitong conducted in-depth research.The former was the first European Union student in the ship administration.He served in the Navy for half a century.Until the Republic of China,he still tried to build a modern naval team.The latter was an outstanding educator.The three represent three different development directions,and they have left a strong and colorful in the history of modern Chinese liberation and independence.The Beiyang Navy is an important stage for the ship administration to return to Europe after returning to China.With the Beiyang Navy as the beginning,the modern navy construction in modern China began to take off.On the basis of exploring the relationship between the departure of the European Union and the development of the Beiyang Navy in the shipbuilding school of Fujian Province during the Westernization Movement,this paper finds that the role of the boat administration school in Europe is not only a temporary one,but also its education for China.Modernization,modern study abroad education,modern military education,and naval construction all have important reference significance.
