A Study On The Predicament Of Integrating The Social Life Of Moderate And Mild Intellectual Disabilities Into Services From The Perspective Of Empowerment

With the rapid development of the social economy,the survival status of disabled people in China has improved significantly,but subject to their own physical conditions,the current moderate to mild intellectual disabled people are still in a marginal position in social life,and the level of social life integration is generally.Obstacles to its social life integration mainly come from itself,family and society,and the most prominent one is the lack of empowerment.This research mainly explores the intervention process and strategies of social life integration services for moderate to mild intellectual disabled persons from the perspective of empowerment.The research takes the implementation process of the social life integration service project of moderate and mild intellectual disabled persons as the main research problem,and carries out practical operations according to the B community social work service project.In the practical process,it is found that the moderate and mild intellectual disabled persons are empowered in the social life integration service.The shortcomings of this are embodied at the individual level: the conflict between the client's own mental conditions and empowerment activities;the internal conflict between the team member's own mental capacity and the group's interpersonal interaction.Family level: the contradiction between the client's family interaction and empowerment activities;the conflict between the family caregiver's attitude and the group empowerment activities.Social level: the conflict between the exclusion of social members and the empowerment activities of the group;insufficient resources for community service activities.Research suggests that,in order for the group to effectively integrate into social life,from the perspective of empowerment,social workers need to guarantee the service participants' opportunities to participate in self-help activities and improve the conditions for participation as much as possible,and strive to cultivate the ability of the service target;ability-oriented,oriented by advantages,and strive to train team members to master the needs of integration The right and the ability to opportunity.Guarantee the composite support service of the service target family;reach a consensus with the family,try to create and guarantee the service target participation opportunity.Improve the community environment in which the social lives ofmoderately and intellectually disabled persons at the community level are integrated:carry out community publicity to make the social assistance for the moderately and intellectually disabled persons and their families not only emphasize material assistance,but also pay more attention to the social integration and participation empowerment;Set up a professional volunteer service team;carry out self-promotion activities for moderately and intellectually disabled people to show their ability and image.The conclusion is that the integration of social life from the perspective of empowerment into social work services has found it to be effective.Empowerment activities are necessary during the integration of social life into services for moderately and intellectually disabled people.
