Study On The Rehabilitation Mode Of Urban Mentally Disabled Persons

In the continuous prosperity and development of social economy,the pressure of social competition has been continuously increasing,the mental health protection mechanism has lagged behind,and the number of people suffering from mental illness and even mental disability has increased.Mental illness,with repeated illnesses and mood swings,not only brings psychological burdens to family members and friends,but also causes social instability.Therefore,social issues related to mental disabilities have attracted worldwide attention.Treating mental illnesses not only relieves their symptoms through medications,hospitalization,etc.What is more important is the continued rehabilitation of discharged patients after returning to society and returning to their families.In the current research and practice of mental disability rehabilitation,there are mainly three major rehabilitation modes:institutional rehabilitation,home rehabilitation and community rehabilitation.This paper uses social work related principles such as the advantage perspective theory,empowerment theory and social support theory,based on existing mental disability related policies and academic research,based on the status of mental disability in Xi’an,according to Xi’an City one situation of a rehabilitation institution in the district,combined with the characteristics of localization,integrates the advantages and disadvantages of various rehabilitation models,and aims to explore a comprehensive set of rehabilitation treatment models for urban mentally disabled people from the perspective of mental disabilities.The comprehensive rehabilitation treatment model for mental disability proposed in this paper includes a set of treatment models consisting of three types of rehabilitation treatment management models selected for different degrees of disability,intervention methods for mental disability rehabilitation,and “follow-up rehabilitation” interventions for mentally disabled persons..The model ranges from the rational treatment and management of persons with mental disability with different degrees of disability to social worker assistance in the implementation of complementary rehabilitation interventions based on the theory of professional social workers,until finally helping mentally disabled persons return to normal family and social life.Full rehabilitation goals.Unlike in the past,which focused on the rehabilitation of people with mental disabilities only at a certain stage or in a single mode,the comprehensive rehabilitation treatment model covers every aspect of the rehabilitation process of people with mental disabilities and forms a complete and comprehensive rehabilitation system model rather than rehabilitation.treatment method.
