Research On Military Sports In Hunan, Hubei, Sichuan And Guizhou Base Areas

The Xiang-E-Chuan-Qian Red Base is found at the later period of China Agrarian Revolution,under the guidance of the China Communist Party(CCP).The former state of the Xiang-E-CHuan-Qian Red base is the East Guizhou Red Base.The Xiang-E-Chuan-Qian Red Base was created by the Rer 3 and Red 6 army under the leadership of Bishi Ren,Long He,XIangying Guan and Da li.The Xiang-E-Chuan-Qian Red Base had a large piece of territory explored and entrenched at the boarder of Hunan province,Hubei Province,Sichuan province and Guizhou province under extremely difficult conditions at the Agrarian Revolution period.The Xiang-E-Chuan-Qian Red Base is centered at Dayong county,Sangzhi county,Yongshun County and Longshan County,which covered more than 30 counties and was the most important armed force for the CCP in the south of China at that time period.The military sports trainings at the Xiang-E-Chuan-Qian Red Base consisted Kongfu,Ridding,Shooting,running with load,jumping over table,and wrestling.Under the slogan of ‘Build strong body and defeat enemy’ from Long He,the red army members took active parts in all kinds of military sports in their spare time.The constant military sports trainings endowed revolution spirits as well as healthy bodies to the red army,which enables them to win the war against the Guomin Party and make significant contribution to the Agrarian Revolution.The military sports in Xiang-E-Chuan-Qian Red Base endows the Red 2,and Red 6 army extraordinary battle effectiveness.The Red Army strengthened themselves and expanded the red base significantly under extremely harsh military pressure.The army successfully grew into one of the three major forces,which is inseparable from the regular military sports training.The military sports activities at Xiang-E-Chuan-Qian Red Base is under well-organized leadership of the party with distinct regional characteristics.The military sports were tightly connected with the Rebelling peasants,and minority group activities.The military sports activities at the Xiang-E-Chuan-Qian Red Base was the predecessor of the military sports activities at the counter-Japanese war,and the foundation of the military sports at the Liberation Revolution period,which is also a very important part of the military sports guiding ideology of People’s Republic of China.However,the current studies on CCP military base mainly focus on the counter-Japanese war period.There were few studies on the red base at agrarian period,which focus on the center red base.There is a lack of study on the Xiang-E-Chuan-Qian Red Base,let alone its military sports.The study of the military sports at Xiang-E-Chuan-Qian Red Base would be of significant importance in implementing the history of agrarian revolution.The thesis is consisted of five parts,the introduction,the origin of military sports at Xiang-E-Chuan-Qian Red Base,its contents and characteristics,historical significance,and effect on current life.Literature investigation,historical reconstruction and logic analysis methods were utilized to study the military sports activities at specific historical conditions.The contribution of red 2,red 6 army were analyzed and summarized based on the corresponding military sports activities in the Xiang-E-Chuan-Qian Red Base.The theoretical system of agrarian revolution ideology was complemented by this study,which is significant for enriching the research of CCP revolution history.
