Combat Effectiveness Evaluation Of A New Infantry Squad

With the upgrading of the weapons and military equipments of the rifle squad,especially on the allocation of Integrated Individual Soldier Combat System and Unmanned Combat Platform,the abilities of cooperative and the abilities of situational awareness that are ignored in traditional rifle squad have been significantly improved,and the combat patterns will be changed accordingly.Therefore,it is imperative to conduct combat effectiveness evaluation research for new rifle squad.Based on the X squad plan of the United States and the existing equipment and technology level of our army,this scenario in this article determines the future allocation of a new rifle squad,which is taken as the object to launch the analysis and the research.Firstly,through the study of the theory of effectiveness evaluation,the ideas and methods of combat effectiveness evaluation of new rifle squad are determined.Combined with the principle of index selection,an index system established by using analytic hierarchy process that is suitable for the evaluation of combat effectiveness of new rifle squad,and launch the analysis for the index elements in the index system.Appropriate parameters or effective methods are selected to quantify the indicators by analysis,and the evaluation methods of killing living aims capability and situational awareness capability are mainly studied.Secondly,the main external factors influencing the combat operations are analyzed and quantified in the form of correction coefficient.Combined with the future military form that China may face,a more detailed battlefield scenario is carried out,with the battlefield scenario as the prerequisite,the weight coefficient and some index parameters that are difficult to quantify can be determined by expert evaluation method.Finally,the index model of the combat evaluation of the new rifle squad is established and verified by examples.In view of the research situation of the subject,some foresights on improving the combat effectiveness of the new rifle squad are promoted,which provides a certain decision-making basis for the rifle squad's combat formation,firepower allocation and tactical application in future wars.
