Intellectual obstacle child is to point to intelligence or the child that physical quality is under normal level,belong to a kind of deformity,it is the factor place that causes as a result of congenital or acquired commonly,their language expresses ability,social adaptability and physical quality are far below normal child.At present,China's special education institutions and public welfare personnel focus on the education and training of children with intellectual disabilities in terms of treatment and rehabilitation.It is difficult to tap the potential of children according to their own characteristics,and the recognition that they can live independently from their families and schools by cultivating their life and professional skills has not been popularized.The outline of the national program for medium-and long-term education reform and development(2010-2020)and other documents clearly states that special education is a basic way to promote the all-round development of the disabled and help them better integrate into society.Therefore,the independent living ability of children with intellectual disabilities is an important guarantee for their integration into society.As the whole society attaches great importance to special education and curriculum reform continues to deepen,special schools and social workers have the responsibility to consider how to truly improve the independent living ability of children with intellectual disabilities and reduce the burden on families and society.Shenyang Shenhe district Qizhi experimental school is a training school for children with mental retardation invested by the government,which mainly receives students with mild mental retardation.At present,there are more than 100 students in total.The author in the investigation and study,on the basis of a large number of literature material and on-the-spot investigation,using interview method,case method and literature method,explores the mentally disabled children live independently ability on its own,family and social significance,and connecting with the special education experimental school social work project in 3 months of service practice,and confirmed the feasibility of training mentally disabled children live independently ability,at the same time,under the guidance of professional social work theory,to increase personal ability and social resources to coordinate the two aspects as the breakthrough point,using the method of case work,family,school and social resource,design really can improve the professional of mentally retarded children live independently ability training plan,Some students in qizhi experimental school were trained in a planned way,and how social work services support children with intellectual disabilities to enhance their independent living ability was deeply studied and discussed,and some results were achieved.It can not only help the mentally handicapped children find the social value and dignity of life,reduce the economic and psychological pressure of families,but also greatly reduce the economic pressure of the society and the government.
