From 1950 To 1953, Jiangsu Province Implemented And Promoted The Research On The Marriage Law

In the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China,in order to restore and rebuild social order,the Communist Party of China was committed to all-round national construction.The marriage law of the People's Republic of China,promulgated and implemented on May 1,1950,has become the authoritative standard of Chinese people's marriage and family life.The feudal marriage system has been abolished legally,and a new democratic marriage system consisting of freedom of marriage,monogamy,equality between men and women,and protection of the legitimate interests of women and their children has been established.In order to implement the new marriage law correctly,the state has made a lot of arrangements for the implementation of the marriage law.Following the instructions of the central government,Jiangsu Province took a lot of effective measures to implement the marriage law from the promulgation of the marriage law in 1950 to the end of the implementation of the marriage law movement in April 1953.During this period,the government constantly organized cadres to study the marriage law,and with the cooperation of the court,woman's Federation,Youth League and other departments and mass organizations,inspected the implementation of the marriage law and carried out the publicity of the marriage law.In the month of implementing the marriage law movement,Jiangsu Province set up a special leading organization to lead and arrange the work of the whole month of marriage law movement,accumulated experience through key pilot in advance,trained a large number of propaganda personnel to carry out large-scale propaganda work.After widely publicizing the masses by various methods,Jiangsu Province has made some achievements in carrying out and publicizing the marriage law.In Jiangsu Province,the new democratic marriage system has been basically established in the areas where the implementation of the marriage law has been carried out,and the marriage law has reached the level of being widely known and popular.The masses have established new ideas such as freedom of marriage,equality between men and women,and a new social atmosphere of civilization and law-abiding has gradually been established.The new marriage law not only protects woman's rights and interests,promotes equality between men and women,and improves family relations,but also liberates woman's productivity and promotes the production and construction of Jiangsu Province.In addition,from the national point of view,the implementationof the marriage law movement in Jiangsu Province has promoted the political consciousness of the masses,while gradually enhancing the recognition of the new China established by the Communist Party of China.At that time,China was in a period of political,economic and cultural change,and Jiangsu was also in a period of political integration.Influenced by other political movements,the implementation and publicity of marriage law was interrupted from time to time and in a state of intermittent.Some economically backward areas in the province are busy with the production work of survival and have no time to take into account the implementation of marriage law.However,some grassroots cadres and propagandists involved in the implementation and publicity of the marriage law have problems in their working ability and attitude,which also leads to the failure of the implementation and publicity of the marriage law in some rural areas.
