Research On Crisis Handling And Countermeasures Of Police-related Network Public Opinion In The Era Of New Media

In the era of new media,it means not only the change of information transmission technology,but also the revolutionary change of information transmission form from unidirectional to interactive or even divergent.By the end of June 2019,the number of Chinese Internet users had climbed to 854 million.More and more people can use QQ,Wechat,Mo Mo,MI chat,micro blog and other instant and interactive communication platforms to spread the news,video and pictures around them,express their feelings and attitudes,and express their views and opinions.At present,in the new media environment,the public security work is facing unprecedented pressures and challenges which the online public opinion bring.Due to the characteristics of the public security work,the public security organs' words and deeds have attracted the deep concern and hot discussion of the public and the media.Meanwhile,they have also become the focus of the interested and the contradictory parties.With the help of new media,the public evaluates the law enforcement behaviors of public security organs,which reflects the personal emotions,opinions and suggestions of the evaluators.From the perspective of the actual online public opinion involving police,the effect is two-sided,both positive and fair,but also extreme and negative.However,the negative online public opinion involving police often causes the tension between the police and the people,which makes the public trust of the public security organ in the public mind suffer the destructive negative influence,and even further intensifies the social contradictions and causes social unrest.With the development of new media,the police network public opinion also presents an unprecedented serious situation.Under the guidance of Public Crisis Management Theory,Silence Spiral Theory and Agenda Setting Theory,and supported by practical cases,this paper expounds the current situation,characteristics,dissemination rules and development trend of online public opinion involving police in the new media era,and analyzes the problems and causes of public security organs in dealing with online public opinion crisis involving police from various aspects.According to the experience of public security work,this paper puts forward the corresponding countermeasures for dealing with online public opinion crisis involving police,hoping to provide some reference and help for online public opinion work of police in the future.
