Study 1 used the test method and designed a ? Preschool-age Children Storytelling+Block Building Questionnaire?.We selected two picture books as the test material.Also we measured the storytelling+block building ability and block building construct ability of 95 children from the kindergarten Xuhui district,Shanghai city under simple situation and multi-situation,respectively.The study found that the Storytelling-Block Building ability of the children from middle class of kindergarten is much higher than the children from botton class of kindergarten.There is no gender difference in the storytelling+block building ability.Study 2 used the questionnaire survey method.From family block building experience,family guidance strategy and family support three dimensions compiled a?Preschool-age Children Family Block Building Environment Questionnaire?.We measures 89 families' block building environment and investigated the relationship between storytelling+block building ability and family block building environment.The study found that the family block building experience is positively correlate with storytelling+block building ability,while family guidance strategy and family support don't correlate with storytelling+block building ability.Based on the above research results,can be concluded that: firstly,storytelling+block building ability will improve with the growth of grade,secondly,There is no gender difference in the storytelling+block building ability.Thirdly,the family block building experience is positively correlate with storytelling+block building ability,while family guidance strategy and family support don't correlate with storytelling+block building ability,so that block building environment is supposed to be scientifically guided. |
