The 'urban fringe' is a concept with only Chinese characteristic.The location of the urban fringe school combines urban with rural areas,in which school students come from many families with all lives.The junior high school students discussed in this thesis has its particularity,and they will exist for a long time.Their ability of learning the math and solving questions is enhancing day by day in a equal education,which is also the most important part in the national quality improvement.This article investigates and studies the phenomenon of learning difficulty in math,tries to find out the factors that is influencing them,hopes to provide some valuable references for the math teachers in other schools,also let the students grow up and develop themselves more and more the same as the schools.At the same time,I am expecting more and more people to pay more attention to this special group through the study of this paper.The author has chosen two schools,which is a typical urban and rural school(research one),the other locates at the city center(reference one).Through interviews with students and questionnaire in them,the author studies the current situation of students learning difficulty in mathematics and inducts some value conclusions by directly much datas and tables.For making a deep and multi-angle understanding of learning difficulties in junior mathematics,the article presets topics in interviews to students,parents,school leaders,math teachers,and strives to excavate and research the influencing factors into the deepest level.In order to obtain more detail and more objective first-hand information,the article makes questionnaire in high validity and reliability based on the Qilin X Middle School in Qujing,ensuring the scientificity and accuracy of the investigation.The study found that the students with math learning disabilities have some commonplace such as:the interesting and motivation in learning math is weak as well as learning willpower,the ability of migrating knowledge is low and so on.But research shows some differences too,such as:learning methods and capacity of mathematics in students from reference one are obviously better and stronger than that from research one,parents from conference one are also significantly higher in knowledge and culture than those from research one,so the front parents can give more help to their children.According to the differences above,the author makes a further analysis especially on family environment and teachers' behavior which affect the students learning difficulties in math in urban and rural school.Finally,the author tries to offer some proposals and educational countermeasures to students,teachers,parents and the other relative departments,to correct or adjust the above on the basis of author's teaching practice.
