In the age of information,scientific education gradually regards "scientific practice" as the current development trend,emphasizing the participation,exchange and interaction of activities,so as promoting the improvement of scientific literacy.It is of great significance to study the science education in all countries,especially the science curriculum standards.The article selects the latest compulsory education science curriculum standard of China(2017 edition)and National Curriculum Framework of India(2005 edition):the part of science as the object,comparing the current primary school science curriculum standard between the two countries which includes five aspects:the background and the basic framework,basic idea,curriculum objectives,curriculum content and implementation suggestions of two countries elementary school science curriculum standard on the basis of the control of relevant literature materials.The comparison of the background and the basic framework of the curriculum standards between the two countries shows that both countries have made changes on the basis of the original curriculum standards to meet the needs of the development of the times.There are obvious differences between the frameworks of the two countries.As a result of the different standpoints of science education,the overall framework of our country has become clearer and more detailed.In the aspect of the curriculum basic idea,both countries regard students as the main body,pay attention to the process of scientific learning,and emphasize the cultivation of students' scientific ethical spirit,in order to inquiry as the core,which embodies the development trend of world curriculum.However,due to the different social backgrounds,the two countries have slightly different emphasis.India emphasizes the nature of science and the sociality of education,while our country emphasizes the fairness of education,which highlights all students.In the aspect of the curriculum objective,the goal dimensions are similar,but there are differences in the ways of achieving them.Our country pays more attention to science study,the process of exploration and attitude formation,while India emphasizes the importance of scientific activities.In addition,the focus of the objective is different,which highlights the differences between science education background.In general,China's objectives are more detailed,and the objectives in India are more flexible,which leaves the room for teachers.In the aspect of the curriculum content,the content selections follow the rule of students' cognitive development and the division of fields is similar,but our country is relatively more specific.In the aspect of the implementation suggestions,the two countries highlight the diversity of evaluation methods and the comprehensiveness of evaluation contents,and also reflect many differences:China pays more attention to the diversity of evaluation subject,and the curriculum evaluation in India is more hierarchical.Through the comparative study,it shows that we should improve the formulation process of curriculum standard,the content of the course should properly penetrate the history of science and continue to standardize the construction of science teachers in the implementation of the recommendations.
