The Curriculum standards is the guide of teachers, students, teaching material design personnel, training organizer and the guide of education research workers. It provides many issues such as teaching objective, curriculum edited, and the nature of content compilers, gives a concise and clear description for teachers about how to teachers in each grade level and how to evaluates student’ learning.According to the actual teaching situation many countries including China combine their curriculum standards with the deepening of curriculum reform. Compared with other countries, science education in China has a late start, Therefore, it becomes very necessary and urgent to absorb and learn from the successful experience of other countries. Curriculum reform of basic education in the United States originated in the60s of the last century, there will be a lot we can learn whether the theory or practice of science education in the basic education stage experience. For Japan, which belongs to the Asian countries like us, two countries have a lot of similarities regardless of cultural background or elementary school science curriculum reform.This research topic mainly analysis elementary school science curriculum standard policy documents for China, Japan and United States using statistical analysis and comparison of the method, choose full-time compulsory education in science (Grades3-6) curriculum standards (experimental version). Japanese elementary school science learning guidance and U.S.(?)ational Science Education Standards (primary part) as the research object. This topic research around two main expansions:first, statistical and analysis what is the point of difference on curriculum ideas and goals, compile concept and scope of the course content, teaching implementation concept and evaluation in primary school science curriculum standards of the three countries. Second, combination of the first part of the text of the three national curriculum standards, carry on further horizontal and longitudinal comparative analysis in curriculum philosophy and objectives, curriculum compile, teaching implementation of three national primary science curriculum standards, identify the same of different and different in the same on science curriculum standards of three countries. Compared with Japan and the United States, come to advantages and disadvantages in our elementary school science curriculum standards, combined with the actual education of our country, learn from Japan and the United States that we can learn.Our country’s primary school science courses, as well as the implementation of the curriculum standards does not has a long time, Therefore, whether curriculum development philosophy or actual teaching experience has a lot of problems must be solved Through the research, I hope to provide some reasonable and operable suggestions for our elementary school science curriculum standard revision and perfect, but also for the majority of elementary school science teachers in the teaching and learning, better use of elementary school science curriculum standards for your reference.
