The continuous development of new media age,growing influence on people's life,its timeliness and simplicity and was deeply loved by people.In June 2015,the Chinese academy of social sciences institute of journalism and communication,social sciences academic press,jointly issued the new media blue book "China's new media development report(2015),the report pointed out that China is the world's first big country,new media users have the world's most active new media industry and one of the most abundant new media applications,is the world's largest and new media market still has great potential.From the beginning of the 21 st century,our country from the "young society" to the brief "adult society",is now well into the "Lao Nian Xing society";Aging of our country's social development has led to a strong focus on government and society.Elderly health problem,which is formed by the aging society and the resulting huge sports demand,and old people's passion for sports participation,changed the pattern of China's public sports,formed a kind of special sports form important force for the elderly.Urban elderly sports through new media platform has gradually become the main mode of transmission,the urban elderly sports culture and the fusion of new media development is more and more relevant.This article attempts through to the new media platform features,classification and development of the urban elderly sports status summary analysis,and to our country in 2017 the typical urban elderly sports events on new media platform keywords content carries on the detailed analysis of the obtained its present situation and the characteristic;Thus summed up under the vision of sports culture,urban elderly sports in China in the new media platforms present features of urban elderly sports culture construction and development of conclusions.
