Action Research On Life Education Of College Students From The Perspective Of Social Work

In recent years,the incidence of suicide and assault among the college students has increased,and the Kong Xin Bing became a concern of the whole society.For this problem,I think it is necessary to spread the Life Education by taking the methods of social work around the university.In this research paper,I have tried to launch a series of activities about Life Education by taking the Participatory Action Research method.Besides,by evaluating the effectiveness of these practices,I tried to explore some more popular methods and contents about Life Education.During the process of this research,by taking the method of semi-structured interview to realize today's college students' attitudes towards life and the current situation of the University Life Education,I found that most of the college students had a sound view of life and death.These students have never taken an systematic Life Education but shown a strong interest in this topic.The Life Education has always been involved in school-based mental health education as a main form of lectures.Although it could affect a large student group,actually there has been an unsatisfactory participation level.Meanwhile,I conducted the University Life Education Social Worker Shop by utilizing professional team work act to test the feasibility of deploying the social work methods upon Life Education for college students.Despite the deficiencies of lacking participants,this worker shop method has got a resultful viability.In conclusion,I think it should focus on the methods of social work,make school-based mental health center as a useful platform,and take full advantages of student work systems to launch and spread Life Education towards college students.Besides,it is necessary to train some professional group of University Life Education,and to organize a series of activities in forms of optional courses,social worker workshops,campus lectures,etc.
