As the i ncreasing development of urbanization, the scale of floating population is becoming larger and larger. Migrant-families has become a very common phenomenon. So the number of migrant children increases with time. In this research, migrant children are defined as the six-to-seventeen-year old rural children who live and study in the city with their parents and other guardian. But because of the household registration system, the families of migrant workers are always at the edge of city. They don’t have the same social rights with the citizen. Migrant children are very young. They follow their parents to the strange city. Their living environment has changed greatly. Their originally social relations are lost, and their social rights are not guaranteed. In a word, their life situations are poor. But now life education which is specially for migrant children is scarcely. This research is mainly about what’s wrong with migrant children’s life situations and how to solve these problems by life education.This article takes a migrant children school which is located in Beijing as an example. Writer gains a lot of first-hand materials by the qualitative research methods of observation, interviews and document analysis. This research analyzes migrant children’s life situations deeply in perspective of life-course theory, and summarizes the life education contents for migrant children according to the actual situations. At last, it tries to explore a way about life education for migrant children by social work.
