Secondary vocational and technical education is different from ordinary high school education.It's primary task is to cultivate high-quality laborers.It aims at cultivating skilled workers and service personnel who produce and serve first-line workers.The main way for graduates is to find job.Therefore,students are required to have the potential for employment,and should also have professional core capabilities.The National Medium and Long-Term Education Reform and Development Plan(2010-2020)has repeatedly called for efforts to increase the professional core competence of learners.Both national government agencies and foreign-funded enterprises urgently need people who can master the necessary basic cultural and professional knowledge,and have professional technical talents with strong professional skills and employability.Therefore,China's vocational and technical education should find the best training model that suits the current economic development status of the country.In the context of the successful establishment of the free trade zone in Dalian,Liaoning Province,in 2017,the demand for talents in the society is becoming more and more prosperous,especially in international trade,offshore trade and finance area.The professional staff is extremely short.At present,the mode of talent cultivation in secondary vocational and technical education in Dalian has not yet been able to meet the needs of relevant talents in society.How to cultivate students' core competence is the key to solve this problem.Based on this development background,this article will take the international business majors of six vocational secondary schools in Dalian as the research object,adopt interview methods,questionnaires,and other research methods.The status quo,problems,and solutions are studied.Specifically,the dissertation first studied the status quo of occupational core competence of students in six professional vocational colleges in Dalian,and then found that there was a low level of attention among students in the cultivation of professional core competence,weak teacher training power,and practical training.Finally,on the basis of learning from advanced foreign experience,the following topics were proposed: establishing national skills core standards,improving legal regulations for vocational education,and cultivating “dual-qualified” teachers Contingents,strengthen students' professional identity,develop school-based curriculum,and develop professional skills competitions.
