In recent years, with the rapid development of STEM education in the United States, many countries have begun to pay attention to this field, including Japan,Australia and China.Nowadays, robotic education is in full swing in the basic education stage of our country.Due to the interdisciplinary integration of multiple disciplines in the process of learning,it provides a good opportunity for primary and secondary schools to integrate STEM education. However,at present, the education of robot in primary and secondary schools mainly aims to participate in all kinds of competitions, ignoring the value of robotic education itself. This paper will take mBot Ranger, which is a kind of education robots,as a carrier to carry out the integrative STEM education,so that it could serve as a learning tool to promote students learning,to help students apply theory to practice. But at the same time,it also faces some challenges, especially, the design, organization and implementation of its learning activity is much more complicated than the general learning. This urgently requires an empirical study of students' current learning in integrative STEM teaching in order to test and reflect on its teaching effectiveness. In order to test the effectiveness of robots in integrative STEM teaching,a suitable evaluation dimension is needed. After reviewing the domestic and foreign research literature, the researcher finds that most studies have taken the students' attitude towards STEM as an effective means to evaluate the integrative effectiveness of STEM teaching in foreign and Taiwan areas.Based on this, this study uses the scale proposed by Luo et al.(2009),which measures students' attitude towards STEM,as an instrument to evaluate the learning effectiveness of integrative STEM teaching. This paper mainly focuses on two core issues:"What is the level of students' attitude towards STEM in non-integrative course?","Is the level of students' attitude towards STEM improved after attending the designed integrative STEM course?"There are five chapters in this paper.Chapter 1 is about the introduction. This section introduces the background of this study, relevant research status at home and abroad, research question, research purpose and meaning, and the research content.Chapter 2 is about the theoretical basis and curriculum design framework of this st udy.It mainly introduces two core concepts, the STEM attitude and STEM PBL.Then t he researcher puts forward the PBL steps of robotic integrativeSTEM course based on th e theory, and introduces the reversing radar project and voice control lottery machine pr oject in detail.Chapter 3 is about the research design. This chapter is the core section of this study. It mainly introduces the research situation, research subjects, research methods and res earch instruments. The analysis of the reliability and validity of the scale is also describ ed in detail.Chapter 4 is about the analysis and discussion. It mainly includes two parts.Firstly, analyzing the quantitative data by independent sample t test and paired sample t test analysis, and arranging the qualitative data by interview outline.Secondly, discussing the results based on the above. It mainly discusses the overall level and characteristics of students' STEM attitude in robotic STEM teaching detailedly.Chapter 5 is about the conclusion of this study. In this chapter, the entire research process and the results are summarized. At first, this paper discusses the effectiveness of the integrative STEM teaching. And then proposing the corresponding strategies from two aspects combined with the existing research results:how to carry out the integrative STEM teaching and how to improve students' attitude towards STEM.Finally, shortcomings and the follow-up research questions of this study are also discussed.
