In the era of information and big date,we cannot avoid to deal with a mass of date in order to get valuable information as well as to provide the basis for our following prediction and inference.The Curriculum Standards for Mathematics of Compulsory Education,which published in 2011,proposed 10 core concepts:number sense,symbol sense,the concept of space,geometry,the concept of data analysis,arithmetic capability,reasoning ability,model thinking,sense of awareness and innovation.It requires that the elementary school students experience the process of collecting,sorting,description and analysis of data,can according to the practical problems involved in the questionnaire,to be able to read charts and make a simple judgment and prediction.Data analysis ability plays an important role in the mathematical learning of compulsory education stage and provide an opportunity for research,therefore we are supposed to cultivate and improve ability of data analysis.The thesis studies the data analysis ability of students from five aspects.The first level is basic research.including research background.research significance,research,question,domestic and foreign research status and research plan.which provides theoretical basis for follow-up research.At the second level,the three core concepts of mathematical core literacy,data analysis ability and mathematics learning are clearly defined.According to the existing research results and the content of The Curriculum Standards for Mathematics of Compulsory Education,this study divided the data analysis ability into five dimensions namely includes the ability to recognize,collect,organize,describe and explore data.The third level using a questionnaire survey on school of M in Nanjing,600 primary school full period of the students’ ability of data analysis on status of research,collect and organize information on the overall analysis and specific analysis.The fourth level analyzes and discusses the research results,including first,the data analysis ability of students in primary school is comparably weak,so as the ability to explore data;second,the research ability of student data in high school is weak;third the data analysis ability is positively correlated with their personal mathematics achievement.And analyze the reasons for the results from the three aspects of teaching materials,teachers and students.The fifth level mainly elaborates the training strategy.Author comes up with the training strategies which contains a programme for students to experience the whole process of analyzing data,a dynamic mathematics classroom linked to Internet plus and a refined teaching arrangement of statistics and probability as well as some other relevant contents,building a diversified intelligent platform.
