The 2011 edition of the compulsory education language curriculum standard has revised the reading goals of students in the third section,the word“non-continuous text" was firstly introduced.It also puts forward the goal that students should achieve when reading non-continuous texts.This study is based on practice.And a non-continuous text reading questionnaire was designed for students and teachers respectively.A total of 16 students and ten Chinese teachers were randomly selected from the fifth or sixth grade of High School Affiliated to Nanjing Normal University Suqian Campus.After analyzing the survey results,the following conclusions are drawn.The students are often exposed to non-continuous text in their daily lives,while they just don't understand the concept,but rarely come into a contact with the related reading materials in their in-class reading and extracurricular reading.In ordinary classroom teaching,some teachers do not pay attention to discontinuous text teaching,and lack of effective reading methods for students.The students' ability to understand,evaluate and use text information is deficient in reading non-continuous text.What' s more,the teachers' understanding of the text is not deep enough,the teaching methods of this type of text are not integrated,and there is no effective guiding strategy for students to read the non-continuous text.On the basis of the investigation,the author makes Suggestions on the shortcomings of non-continuous text in teaching,from the objective of non-continuous text reading ability and the strategy of cultivating relevant abilities in this paper.This paper mainly discusses how to train the reading ability of students' non-continuous text from the aspects:the mutual conversion reading among chart reading,continuous text reading and non-continuous text reading.It is hoped that these strategies can be used to improve the current situation of non-continuous text reading teaching,and to improve the reading ability of non-continuous text of the senior primary school students.
