Research On The Work Enthusiasm Of The Primary School Headteacher And The Improvement Countermeasures

The class teacher is the organizer and manager of the class,its point of contact with individual subject teachers,and a channel of communication for the school,parents and society.In the course of a school's educational activities,the class teacher is the one that has the greatest influence on the students,passes on to them the greatest number of values and with every act makes a significant impression on them.For this reason,the class teacher bears more pressure and responsibility than other kinds of teachers.With respect to primary school students who are at an important stage of physical and psychological development,the class teacher's enthusiasm and attitude towards work has a great influence on their development.Presently,a lack of enthusiasm among class teachers is a problem the majority of primary schools face.Through surveys,interviews and independent study of the facts,the present thesis has discovered that the lack of enthusiasm among class teachers has many causes.The main reason lies in the tedium of class management work,as well as pressure to provide both teaching and moral education;a weak system of incentives by the management of the education department resulting in dissatisfied class teachers;a large number of students with big differences among them increasing the difficulty of class management work;differences between the teacher's expectations and the actual situation of the parents,poor cooperation and communication between school and parents,few training opportunities for class teachers and weak all-round capabilities making the work of class teachers especially tiring.As part of the research,this thesis considers the theories of foreign and national researchers on systems of incentives and the organization of training courses for the professional development class teachers;appeals to society to reduce problems surrounding the work of class teachers;emphasizes cooperation between parents and school to lead parents to follow the work of the class teacher;promotes reasonable evaluations and incentive mechanisms to increase the enthusiasm of class teachers.
