In reality,almost every school has a certain poor students,the problem of students with learning difficulties has been the subject of education researching.The intermediate stage is the key period,which is the transition from lower grade to high grade and it is the critical period of the arising of poor students.The analysis and transformation of poor students of this stage is a great challenge for teachers and educators.The study uses qualitative research method,putting W student with learning difficulties at the intermediate in elementary school as the study object.After careful observation and access to a lot of research data,the author picks out three students of learning difficulties in Chinese.and then observing him,trying to record each detail during the course of learning.Based on their classroom behaviors at the Chinese class,combined with the completion of everyday homework and family interviews,the author will analyze the causes of learning difficulties in Chinese from reading,memory and writing,trying to find the correct suggestion.The study shows what I have found that the reason of forming of under achievers in learning Chinese is complicated and the factors are divided into external and internal.Internal causes are factors of the students themselves,including cognitive and non-cognitive factors.External,it falls into school’s education and family factors.Examination-oriented education neglected the development of academic difficulties,the teachers’ teaching methods and a poor relationship,the optimization home education environment and parent-child communication in not enough.Then,in view of the main reasons,I offer some help for three students under achievers in Chinese learning.Their grades and the learning habits get improved after four months help.Finally,I offer some ideas for transforming.On the part of students,active participation in Chinese activities;mastering the study method;correct learning attitude.In the school education aspect,the school school should provide students with a good learning environment and counseling service of the learning difficult students,education;the teacher should adopt the scientific ideas and establish intimate relations between students and teachers and strengthen the guidance of learning method.Besides,the teacher lays stress on students’ learning interest and good learning habits.On family education,parents should maintain a healthy perception of their children,adopt the scientific ideas,constantly engaged with their kids and with each other and tightly cooperate with school.It is quite hard to transform an underachiever difficult in learning Chinese so long as we each educator ally ourselves with families and society and try our best.
