Based on the theory of Lifelong Learning,the theory of Lifespan Development,the theory of Three-metaphysics and the theory of Human Development Ecology,this study explored the parenting dilemmas and Self-growth of preschool children's parents by a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods.Using interview method,pre-interviewed 3 preschool children's parents and conducted semi-structured in-depth interviews with 16 parents(including 11 mothers and 5 fathers)in the formal interview.Using questionnaire method,we conducted a pre-survey of the questionnaire,and in the formal investigation,valid questionnaires were obtained from 147 preschool children's parents in G and Q kindergartens.Through the coding,analysis,induction and summary of the interviews and questionnaires data,the following frameworks and specific contents have been formed:First,the basic characteristics of parenting dilemmas of preschool children's parents.It can be summarized as:The dilemma always points to the child's health and safety,and the content is mostly concentrated in the upbringing contradictions between parents and grandparents,and the dilemma presents a phased feature,and it is more complicated in a multi-child family.Second,the contents and causes of the parenting dilemmas of preschool children's parents.The content of the dilemma includes the two phases before and after the child enters the kindergarten.Before entering the kindergarten,the plight includes mainly the dilemmas related to themselves,the plights related to children,and the difficulties associated with other family members.After entering the kindergarten,the parents is mainly worried about the child's growth and worry about parenting.The main reason for the plight of children before entering the kindergarten is the compression of "me".The main reason for the plight of children after entering the kindergarten is that I worry about children.Third,the growth contents and ways of preschool children's parents.The content of growth reflects both positive growth and difficult growth.Positive growth includes learning to care for children,practicing self-education,dealing with social relationships,and experiencing the happiness brought about by family relationships.The difficulties of growth include the difficulty to return to the workplace,the expectation to return to the family and the difficulty to achieve the expectation of common upbringing.And their growth path includes learning from children,peers,elders and self-learning.Fourth,the researcher puts forward the strategies and suggestions to all the family members,kindergartens and social environment to support the growth of preschool children's parents,and makes a reflection and prospect on the whole study.
