Research On The Cultivation Of Democratic Consciousness Of Primary And Middle School Students In Class Life

As a basic social consciousness,consciousness of democracy is a real spiritual reflection of social democratic reality of the members of society in certain social and historical conditions.It is people's understanding about the national democratic politics,rights and legal systems.Its content includes six aspects:rights consciousness,sense of participation,consciousness of the law,consciousness of equality,consciousness of negotiation and consciousness of freedom.In today's society background with democratization trend,the country's education democratization process has been accelerated.Carrying out citizen consciousness education,establishing socialist democracy concept and training qualified social citizen has become a major strategic theme of the national development,and the starting point of citizen consciousness education is primary school education.Primary school students' consciousness of democracy is the foundation of the development of their personality and sociality,and is an important part of its overall development.It shows in five aspects:sense of rights and responsibility,sense of participation,consciousness of rules,consciousness of equality and consciousness of negotiation.However,in the current primary school education reality,there have been some problems hindering the development of consciousness of democracy of primary school students,such as teachers' classroom management ideas backwardness,the school's high emphasis on management system,and these problems lead to the coldness of consciousness of democracy and the insufficient of the capacity for democratic participation of primary school students.Class system life is an important part of the class life and it has a certain value of moral education,especially the class norms,which is one of the most common primary school system.The class norms is the embodiment of the cultivation purpose of pupils in each class,and primary school students are most familiar with it.Its own system of virtue and moral education value of construction process is closely tied to the cultivation of consciousness of democracy of primary school students.Based on the analysis,this study chooses the class norms as the breakthrough point,and plan to cultivate consciousness of democracy of primary school students by the construction of class norms.The specific strategies includes three parts:develop the educational value of the class norms in the formulation period,promote the democratic construction of the norms in the implementation stage and improve the function of the norms in the reflection period through the modification and adjustment.The final goal is to let the pupils participate in the class and the process of the construction of class norms,enjoy the happiness as a host in the class,enhance class identity and then gradually cultivate consciousness of democracy in the experience.
