Research On The Changes Of Rural Marriage Payment

This article is mainly based on the perspective of the marriage endowment theory,and through the research method of standardized Interview,mainly from four aspects about the basic economic payment,the behavioral economic payment,the faith economic payment and the instrumental economic payment.There is a case study of the L village in Heilongjiang Province.Investigation of L village in 1978 to 2017 nearly 40 marital payment changes,then the rural marital payment vicissitude situation to study.First of all,this paper introduces the background of the initial stage of the study,explains briefly the changes in economy,society and culture since the Chinese Economic Reform and open up,and also explains the significance of the two aspects of theory and practice.Then,from the following four aspects: the classification standard,the actual situation,the social function,and the factors that affect the phenomenon of marital payment,the author reviews and summarizes the literature about marital payment at home and abroad.Next,the article explains the whole research design of this article,and introduces the theoretical basis in the study;the concept of marital payment is defined,and the main classification standards used in this article are defined;this paper introduces the method of this study,and explains the situation of the research site and the research object.After the reform and opening up,the specific situation of the change of marital payment in L village has been followed,based on the results of case interviews,the four aspects of basic economic payment,behavioral economic payment,faith based economic payment and instrumental economic payment are discussed in detail in the past forty years.After discussing the situation of the research object,the author makes an analysis of the reasons for the changes in the marital payment.The individual reasons for the increase of income and the increase of social mobility,the family reasons for the decline of the patriarchal power and the intergenerational differences,and the social reasons for the change of family planning policy and mass culture were also drawn.Finally,we draw the conclusion of this study.The rural marital payment has shifted from "repayment" to "subsidizing" and "mutual benefit",and put forward some suggestions for the issue of rural marital payment.
