With the deepening of curriculum reform and the promulgation of new curriculum standards, there has been a phenomenon of "many textbooks for one standard" in Chinese compulsory education textbooks. At present, there are seven editions of physics textbooks for compulsory education in China. Each version is based on the requirements of the curriculum standards which embodies the related concepts of the physics course. Therefore how to select and use the textbooks suitable for students is a subject worthy of further study. In accordance to the requirements of curriculum standards, seven versions of the physics textbooks for compulsory education are selected in my thesis, including People's Education Press(PEP)Version,Phoenix Science Press(PSPRESS)Version,Shanghai Scientific&Technical Publisers(SSTP)Version,Beijing Normal University Press Version,Shanghai and Guangdong middle school physics Teaching material(SH&GD)Version,Shandong Scientific and Technical Publisers version and Educational Science Publishing House version. In this thesis, the auther aims to analyze whether electrical experiments in the physics textbooks for compulsory education meet the requirements of curriculum standards, besides a detailed comparative study is made on the specific design ideas, experimental columns, experimental numbers and experimental contents. The study shows that the electrical experiments of the seven versions of textbooks are beyond the requirements of the curriculum standards.PEP Version and PSPRESS Version pay more attention to the students' experiments and process experience, and SSTP Version and Educational Science Publishing House version emphasize the experimental inquiry, the Beijing Normal University Press Version,Shandong Scientific and Technical Publisers version and SH&GD version focus on the demonstration experiment. In the aspect of the experimental content,PEP Version avoids the experiment on the seven elements of scientific inquiry, and SSTP Version attaches great importance to the evaluation.Beijing Normal University Press Version divides the experiment into the big inquiry and the small inquiry with accurate words.Besides blanks are left for students to explore independently.SH&GD version pays more attention to the full range of links. While Shandong Scientific and Technical Publisers version and SH&GD version textbooks focus on data collection and optimization.SH&GD version,Educational Science Publishing House version and Shandong Scientific and Technical Publisers version attach more importance to the safety of the circuit. As for the comprehensive practice column,PSPRESS version and Educational Science Publishing House version lay more emphases on solving practical problems.
