With the deepening of mathematics curriculum reform, people can always find open problems in textbooks and in various math tests. It is necessary for teachers to understand the current situation and influence factors of mathematics open problems.Students' logical reasoning ability has always been a hot topic in mathematics research, and it is necessary for teachers to know their current status and influence factors. This paper studies the solution level of the open question of students, mathematics in the first and second grade, and explores the factors that influence its solution.According to the logic and reasoning to scale and three open questions of test, measure of 164 junior middle school students,to explore the students' logical reasoning level and the level of mathematics, open questions, different grade, the different sex, different educational level between students in logical reasoning and the difference between open questions to solve, and analyses the junior middle school students ability of logical reasoning and the relationship between the open question solution ability. The following conclusions are drawn from this study:(1)middle school students have a middle level of logical reasoning ability generally. There are significant differences in logical reasoning ability of students at different academic level. The average value of logical reasoning was slightly higher than that of male students, but there was no significant difference in logic reasoning ability. There are significant differences in logical reasoning ability between different grades.(2)the problem-solving ability of junior high school students' mathematics open questions is in the middle level. There was no significant difference in the ability of students to answer open-ended questions at different academic levels. The average number of open questions for girls was slightly higher than that of male students, but there was no significant difference in the ability to answer gender. There are significant differences in the ability to answer open questions between different grades.(3)there is a positive correlation between the logic reasoning ability of middle school students and the solution level of open questions.(4)students of different logical reasoning groups have significant differences in solutions to open questions; The open problems of the high and low logical reasoning group were more volatile, while the open problems of the logic reasoning group were relatively stable. Therefore,in the teaching of open topic, students of high and low logical reasoning group are the most concerned.(5)the mathematical logic reasoning ability of junior high school students has a certain predictive effect on the answer to the open question of mathematics.
