This is an era of rapid technological and economic development. The competition among countries in the world has gradually turned into the competition of comprehensive national strength. In order to adapt to the development of such an era,the society's demand for talents has also changed into the demand for high-quality talents with comprehensive development of core qualities.Situational chemical problem solving skills are included in the core literacy system. However, the research on the solution of chemical problems started late compared with other science subjects, and the research on various aspects of the solution of chemical problems is not perfect enough. So based on the situation of chemical problems of the ability to build a reasonable evaluation index, and to understand the student in the aspect of the present situation and development, put forward to help teachers improve teaching, improve students' ability of targeted teaching strategy is very necessary. In this study,on the basis of previous studies on problem solving, the following results were obtained in combination with the process of situational analysis and chemical problem solving:1.The connotation and elements of situational chemical problem solving ability of high school students were determined,so as to construct an evaluation index system of situational chemical problem solving ability.2.Prepare the questionnaire according to the evaluation index system of high school students' situational chemical problem solving ability.3.Conduct questionnaire survey to obtain data related to the research, and understand the current situation of situational chemical problem solving ability of high school students.4.According to the data analysis of the questionnaire survey, the teaching strategies of cultivating and improving the situational chemistry problem-solving ability of high school students are proposed.
