As one of the basic skills that everyone should have in the21 st century,computational thinking has attracted a lot of attention from scholars and researchers.Computational thinking,as a way of thinking,helps us discover,think and solve problems from a variety of perspectives.Not only is the core literacy of information technology as simple as it is,it also appears as a core element in connecting thinking activities and behaviors.Cultivate students' computational thinking while promoting education reform and improving teaching quality.In China,the training of computational thinking is mostly in the theoretical research stage,and it is mainly carried out in the primary and secondary school stages.The research in higher vocational colleges is relatively small.Therefore,this research takes higher vocational colleges as the research direction,and develops gamification teaching in computer application basic courses to cultivate students' computational thinking.This study includes four phases: the preparation phase of the research,the theoretical inquiry phase,the teachingpractice phase,and the summary evaluation phase.In the research preparation stage and theoretical research stage,the literature analysis research method is mainly used to summarize domestic and foreign research on computational thinking,gamification teaching,and computer basic application courses in higher vocational education.Insufficient,so the author,in order to study the teaching based on computational thinking in higher vocational colleges,combines the content of computational thinking with the content of college classrooms,and at the same time caters to the learning characteristics and methods of students in higher vocational colleges.A new teaching model of higher vocational colleges combining computational thinking and gamified teaching.Carry out practical teaching at the practical stage.Teachers set the teaching goals before class to clarify the common goals that students and teachers need to achieve;analyze the content of computational thinking that needs to be taught in this class to help students better understand the meaning of computational thinking;Teachers also design classroom teaching activities designed to develop students' interest in computational thinking.By implementing these specific measures,this newmode of teaching in higher vocational colleges is applied to specific teaching.The author selects two classes in a vocational school in Changsha for experiments,and makes a comparative study of the experimental results on the premise that the unrelated variables are consistent.At the beginning of the test,questionnaires and interviews were conducted with students,and at the end of the test,the results were evaluated by obtaining test results.After a comparative study of relevant data,this new model of vocational college teaching combined with computational thinking and gamified teaching can more stimulate students' learning interest,increase students' learning enthusiasm,effectively promote learning efficiency,and improve students' computational thinking ability.
