Learning space is concerned not only by architecture but also by education.In recent years,due to the introduction and implementation of basic education reform and the outline of national medium-and long-term education reform and development plan(2010-2020),the research on learning space has gradually attracted the attention of experts and scholars in the field of education.Learning space is not only a container for students and teachers,but also should promote students’ learning and teachers’ teaching.The learning space and the student study,the teacher teaching,the school curriculum establishment three are the mutual influence,the supplement mutually relations.In addition,learning space should also meet the needs of students’ psychological development,cognitive development.After analyzing the existing literature,this study finds that the existing studies on learning space are more from the perspective of landscape planning or architectural planning,and less from the perspective of pedagogy.At the same time,most of the existing studies on learning space planning are about learning space in colleges and universities.However,adult students in colleges and universities are different from minor children in primary schools in their cognitive,thinking and psychological development levels.Therefore,the study of learning space in colleges and universities is far from the study of learning space in primary schools,and the research conclusions cannot be directly copied on the analysis of learning space in primary schools.Learning space itself is a research field that combines multiple disciplines and needs to cross different disciplines.Therefore,this paper starts from the dual perspectives of pedagogy and psychology to construct the analytical framework of primary school learning space.This paper selects three public primary schools in Shanghai.These three schools have been verified to be qualified,in line with the national education building standards,and have been put into use.Therefore,whether the three schools meet the national standards is not studied.In chapter 3,the case analysis of primary school learning space will analyze whether the components of learning space in the three schools meet the needs of teachers’ teaching and students’ learning according to the framework of learning space analysis proposed in the previous section.After the analysis,the case study of the three schools was conductedto analyze the status quo and existing problems of the learning space of the three schools,and suggestions for optimizing the learning space were put forward.
