| The sense of belonging in school is the emotional need of students for school integration,identification and investment,Students identify themselves as part of the school,actively participate in various activities,have a sense of responsibility,school is recognized and respected.High school students’ sense of belonging to school affects their life and learning status at school,and their mood at school every day.Students who feel lonely and have no sense of value at school are more likely to get bored with school and thus affect their academic performance.This study used stratified random sampling to select 270 students in Grade One,Grade Two and Grade Three of Guazhou Middle School in Hangjiang District of Yangzhou City.Xu Kunying’s "School Attribution Questionnaire for Secondary School Students" was used to explore the difference of school attribution and various factors among different demographic variables by questionnaire survey and case study.This paper analyses the difference of the sense of belonging among senior high school students with different academic levels and the relationship between the sense of belonging and academic performance of senior high school students.The results are as follows:(1)The total average score of school belonging of senior high school students in this school is 99.26.The average scores of five factors are school environment 23.61,teacher behavior 24.54,school input 16.88,peer relationship 17.13 and school integration 17.0,respectively.(2)Senior high school students’sense of belonging has significant differences has significant differences in class type,gender and whether they have only one child or not;in the influence factors of nuclear family and non-nuclear family,there is only significant difference in school environment;in grade,there is significant difference.(3)Senior high school students’sense of belonging has significant difference in different academic achievement levels.There is a significant difference between the students with high academic achievement and those with middle academic achievement and those with low academic achievement.However,there is no significant difference in the sense of school belonging between the students with middle academic achievement and those with low academic achievement.(4)There is a significant positive correlation between high school students’sense of belonging and their academic performance.And high school students’sense of belonging can positively predict their academic performance.(5)High school students ’sense of belonging is an important variable that affects students’academic performance.There are significant differences in academic mood,learning motivation,learning attitude,learning willpower and learning habits between students with.There are significant differences in academic mood,motivation,attitude,willpower and habits between students with high sense of belonging and those with low sense of belonging. |
