The Effect Of School Belonging On Achievement Motivation Of Higher Vocational College Students | | Posted on:2021-11-23 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:X D Liu | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2507306515999329 | Subject:Development and educational psychology | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | As a way to cultivate pre-school and primary school teachers for the future,the education and management of higher vocational college normal students are directly related to the quality of the Chinese basic education,the growth of the younger generation and the future of the country and the nation.It is necessary to strengthen the achievement motivation of higher vocational college normal students according to the objective law of the psychological development of higher vocational college students as well as the characteristics of modern higher vocational college normal students.It is of great practical significance for the determination of the later development direction of higher vocational college normal students and the promotion on their mental health.Goodenow PSSM-CR compiled and revised by the two Hong Kong scholars of Cheung and Hui,"the interpersonal communication efficacy scale for college students" compiled by Xie Jing in her master thesis research and AMS revised by Ye Renmin and K.A.Hagtvet are adopted in the research.The college students from Fujian Preschool Education College,Minjiang Teachers College and Quanzhou Preschool Education College are taken as the research object.The descriptive statistic,T-test,variance analysis,correlation analysis and regression analysis of the collected data are carried out through Spss21.0.The following conclusions are drawn:(1)Belongingness of higher vocational college normal students: The belongingness of higher vocational college normal students is generally at the middle level.There is significant difference in the aspects of gender,student source and being student cadres or not.Boys score significantly higher than girls in the aspect of belongingness.Urban students score higher than rural students.Student cadres score significantly higher than other students.(2)Interpersonal communication efficacy of higher vocational college normal students: The interpersonal communication efficacy of higher vocational college normal students is at the upper and middle level.There is significant difference in the aspects of gender,student source and being student cadres or not.The interpersonal communication efficacy of freshmen is the strongest.The interpersonal communication efficacy of sophomores is the weakest.In terms of interpersonal communication efficacy,urban students score higher than rural students.Student cadres score higher than other students.(3)Achievement motivation of higher vocational college normal students: The achievement motivation of higher vocational college normal students is at the middle and lower level.There is no significant difference in Demography Variable.(4)It is possible to predict the interpersonal communication efficacy of higher vocational college normal students positively through their belongingness.It is possible to predict the achievement motivation of higher vocational college normal students positively through their interpersonal communication efficacy.It is possible to predict the achievement motivation of higher vocational college normal students positively through their belongingness.The interpersonal communication efficacy plays a certain bridge role in the effect of belongingness on achievement motivation. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | achievement motivation, interpersonal communication efficacy, Sense of school belonging, Higher Vocational Colleges, Normal school students | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
