In order to measure the relationship among the sense of school belonging,mathematical interest,and mathematical achievement,this study uses four methods: literature review,SPSS analysis,path analysis and structural equation modeli-ng.Participators are TIMSS2011 Hong Kong eighth grade students.This study also has shown that relationship mathematical interest as the mediator between the sense of school belonging and mathematical grades.The results are as follows:1.There are significant gender differences in school belonging,mathematical interest and mathematical grades;2.The sense of school belonging has a significant influence on the academic achievement of mathematics and has a strong positive correlation with the mathema-tical achievement.The higher the sense of school belonging is,the higher the mathematical achievement is;3.Mathematical interest has played an important role in the mathematical grades and has significant positive correlation with the academic achievement of mathema-tics.The higher mathematical interest is,the higher the mathematical achievement is;4.The sense of school belonging exerts a significant effect on the interest of mathematics learning and is positively related to mathematical interest.The higher sense of school belonging is,the higher the mathematical interest is;5.Senior middle school students' interest in mathematics has played a mediating role between the sense of school belonging and mathematical academic performance,which has shown that the sense of school belonging affects mathematical achievement through mathematical interest.
