With the advancement of the times and the development of artificial intelligence,computational thinking has gradually become one of the basic abilities that modern citizens should possess,and has received extensive attention.Relevant education departments have successively issued a number of educational documents,emphasizing the necessity of cultivating students'computational thinking.At present,scholars in China focus on the study of computational thinking in the higher education stage.However,the cultivation and formation of computational thinking is a long-term process,which is especially important for the cultivation of students'computational thinking ability in the basic education stage.The emergence of graphical programming software provides a great tool.The interface of Scratch is simple and convenient to operate,which can help young users to design games or animations independently.Therefore,this paper chooses Scratch software as a tool for computational thinking training.In order to use Scratch software to better carry out teaching and cultivate students'computational thinking,this paper has carried out a gamification teaching research for the cultivation of students'computational thinking ability.In order to use Scratch software to better teach and cultivate students' computational thinking,this paper has carried out a gamification teaching research for the development of computational thinking ability of primary school students.The work of this paper is as follows:The first is to sort out the relevant situation of computational thinking,gamification teaching,and Scratch programming software.Firstly,this paper is based on computational thinking,and defines the concept,and expounds the research status of computational thinking education,evaluation methods and related teaching models.Secondly,the definition of gamification teaching is defined,and its research status and implementation model are expounded.Finally,the research status of Scratch programming software is discussed.The second is to define the teaching model,and use the theories of"constructivism learning theory","learning by doing" and "experiential learning",combined with the computational thinking method and the characteristics of Scratch itself to construct a gamification teaching model based on computational thinking.This teaching model consists of eight steps,which are "to determine the topic of the game","the theme of the game design","collaborative exploration","problem solving and knowledge construction","Scratch work creation","display and communication","summary and evaluation"and "perfect work".The third is to determine the course objectives and teaching content according to relevant standards,and developed three kinds of teaching design cases,such as"Kitten moved to random position","Keyboard control hippo","Hippo picking stars".Then,based on the design-based research method,iterative experiments were carried out using three class time cases to improve the teaching model.Through the computational thinking test paper,student's work,Learning attitude questionnaire,the teaching effect of gamification teaching model based on computational thinking is verified,and a complete teaching model is finally formed.This paper forms the following conclusions:the gamification teaching model based on computational thinking has a certain improvement on the students'computational thinking ability,and can enhance students' enthusiasm and confidence in learning information technology courses.
