Permutation and combination is the difficulty of high school teaching.Students are prone to making mistakes during the problem solving process.And because this part of knowledge in the college entrance examination in the proportion of low,therefore,teachers and students do not pay enough attention to this part of knowledge.Based on such a background,the author found out the types of errors students made in solving permutation and combination problems through literature search and questionnaire survey.Two types of errors were selected for remedial teaching design.And use data analysis method for effect analysis.The following conclusions are drawn:(1)When solving permutation and combination problems,students mainly have the following types of errors: conceptual errors,method selection errors,calculation errors,and other errors.In view of the large proportion of conceptual errors and method errors in the problem solving,so the selection of conceptual errors and method errors to remedy.Aiming at the conceptual error of permutation and combination,the remedial teaching program is designed based on dubinsky’s APOS theory.And for the method selection error of remedial teaching,use the mind map to help students clear the way of thinking and give students a clear,well-defined method map.(2)Through data analysis,analysis pretest and post-test experiments of remedial teaching,statistical analysis results give positive support to the effectiveness of remedial teaching.For example,after the remedial teaching is completed,the accuracy rate of the students in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the pretest.But there was no significant change in the control group.On the other hand,remedial teaching is conducive to enhancing students’ enthusiasm for learning,in order to achieve the goal of consolidating teaching results.(3)When designing remedial teaching,the situation should be close to life.When remedial teaching,use graph to assist problem solving more.Give students some time to practice.
