The Research On Permutation And Combination Of High School Learning

Permutation-and-combination is a counting method based on the principle of step-by-step counting.It plays an important role in solving the problem of counting in our daily life,and can effectively train students’ counting ability,cultivate their mathematical thinking and improve their ability to think and solve problems independently.Permutation-and-combination is an important knowledge point in high school mathematics teaching material.It is also a difficult point in the process of students’ learning.It is closely related to the binomial theorem and probability knowledge.It occupies a certain proportion in the college entrance examination,so it is a chapter which teachers and students should pay attention to.But often teachers and students themselves do not realize the importance of this part,resulting in students’ many obstacles,mainly in not well mastering definitions and formula,unclear ways of problem solving,poor computing power and so on.The author first discusses the background and significance of the study of permutation and combination and briefly describes the current situation about permutation and combination at home and abroad by referring to literature,then finds some obstacles in learning this chapter and the specific patterns through online survey and face-to-face communication with students and teachers.Finally the author analyzes the main obstacles and their reasons in students’ learning by means of referring to available literature,practical experience and close communications with teachers.On this basis,the author proposes some effective and reasonable ways for different reasons,from perspectives of teachers themselves,students themselves,teaching materials,class exercises and after-class activities as well as classroom teaching activities to improve the teaching quality in class,cultivate students’ ability to innovate and ability to think independently,improve students’ mathematics learning interest,strengthen students’knowledge of the new point,so as to effectively improve the academic performance.
