Certain positive effects is exerted by constructive play on children's performance of action,society,cognition,etc.in spite of the large proportion of plastic building blocks construction in the constructive playof kindergartens,the construction of plastic building blocks for children has remained at the original level for a long time in practice to be supported.The purpose of this studyis to explore how to achieve the improvementof the level of children's plastic building blocks construction in top classes of kindergartens in the context of the theme of this study.The children from two top classes of W kindergarten in Pudong New Area of Shanghai are selected as the objects of this study,which are set as the experimental class and the comparison class respectively.Firstly,the constructive works of children from the two classes are pre-tested with the Comprehensive Assessment Scale for the Construction Level of Plastic Building Blocks.It can be concluded from the pre-test data that the experimental class and the comparison class demonstrate no significant difference in the level of structural representation and the detailed performance of children's plastic building blocks works.Two-dimensional structure is dominant in the current self-built plastic building blocks works of children from the two top classes,which presents a low level of image representation and a relatively simplified color assortment.Therefore,it is believed that to design intervention schemes for the improvement of children's construction level is of high necessity.Combining with the theme proceeded by the kindergarten,the activity scheme of promoting the level of plastic building blocks construction of children in top classes is designed and implemented in this study,which focuses on the guidance of different construction skills of children as well as provides intervention and guidance for children in the experimental class for two months.In the subsequent comparison of the construction level of children from the two classes,in addition to the basic ability to achieve the presentation of three-dimensional modeling with a variety of splicing and insertion skills and techniques,children in the experimental class also show the attention to the structural modeling and detailed performance of the works.In accordance with the results of the intervention study,the intervention scheme of integrating themes into plastic building blocks activities assumes a positive impact on the promotion of threedimensional construction,the level of structural representation and the detailed performance of children's plastic building blocks works.The key points of the activity scheme are summarized on the basis of the above research results: To solve the different problems existing in the construction level one by one;In line with different construction skills objectives,to choose appropriate entry points and flexibly apply various speech types to inspire children to achieve skill upgrading;To accumulate cognitive and structural experience through observation and comparison.
