With the deepening of the reform of basic education curriculum,the curriculum integration has become the development trend of the basic education curriculum reform at home and abroad.How to integrate the curriculum effectively is a hot issue for researchers.STEM education is an interdisciplinary education that based on science,technology,engineering and mathematics,and it integrates the four fields.The purpose of this research is to analyze the research status through literature research,select typical cases from China and the United States to sort out and analyze,summarize the basic ideas and design features of STEM curriculum,and practice the curriculum cases,so as to provide a reference for STEM curriculum educators.The first part: expounded the research background and significance of this paper,puts forward the research framework and research methods,and defines the core concepts.The second part: collected the current domestic and foreign STEM research literature,and introduced the domestic and foreign research status of STEM education,which includes STEM education,STEM literacy,STEM curriculum resources,STEM practice,STEM concept,progress on STEM education policy etc..Then putted forward the inspiration for writing this article.The third part: selected the more attractive,which is more easier to get students with and the design of a more perfect case for analysis,and summarized the essential elements and highlights in the design process of STEM course,then integrated them into the latter case practice.The forth part: Based on the previous three parts and my current teaching experience in Shanghai No.1 Experimental School Affiliated To SISU,I conducted some STEM course cases,and putted forward the challenges in the current STEM curriculum implementation process and suggestions for STEM curriculum construction in China.The fifth part: the reflection and prospect of this research.This part summarized the deficiencies in the research and the problems that need to be further studied,solved and explored in practice in the future.
