Case Work Involved Research On Community Corrections For Juvenile Offenders

The age of juvenile delinquency in China,the violence of criminal means and the high rate of recidivism have become key issues of social concern,but serious blows can not be carried out against juvenile delinquents,which is not in line with the original intention of national legislation and is not conducive to the integration of juvenile delinquents into society.Therefore,the judicial organs carry out community correction for the minors who meet the conditions.The physical and psychological development of juvenile offenders is uneven,and the causes of their crimes vary greatly,as do their needs.The community correction work is carried out in a suitable way,and the existing domestic and foreign researchers have proposed that the social work method is more conducive to the community correction method for juvenile offenders.The author expounds the significance of this study,searches for relevant documents at home and abroad,defines the concept of juvenile delinquency,and points out the three basic theories of ecosystem theory,social support theory,and superiority perspective theory used in practice.This paper analyzes the present situation and problems of juvenile offender community correction in H County,and expounds the advantages of the principles,models,processes and techniques of case work applied to juvenile offender community correction.Through the example of Huang Mo,who is undergoing community correction in H community in H County,the author provides corrective services to Huang Mo according to the sequence of taking cases,estimating,planning,intervening,evaluating,and closing cases,and records the entire practical process from taking cases to closing cases.Finally,it summarizes and reflects on the whole case,and puts forward effective suggestions for the case work involved in juvenile offender community correction.
