Research purposes:To explore the effect of 12-week moderate-intensity table tennis on the physical and mental health of college students,Analysis of the Influence of Table Tennis on College Students' Physical Quality and Mental Health.The purpose of establishing table tennis in the development of college students' physical and mental quality,In order to provide a theoretical basis for the in-depth development of table tennis in colleges and universities,it has certain practical reference significance for the development of college sports options courses and the Physical quality of college students.research method:This research uses literature methods,experimental methods,test methods,questionnaires,mathematical statistics and other research methods to conduct research.A total of 98 freshmen of non-sports majors from Yangzhou University were selected by convenient samPling.There were 48 experimental groups(22 boys and 26 girls)and 50 in the control group(27 boys and 23 girls).According to different teaching methods of medium and small exercise intensity,the two groups were divided into two groups for table tennis exercise intervention.The experimental group was implemented for 12 weeks,twice a week,and accumulated 90 minutes of moderate-intensity table tennis exercise intervention;The control group conducted regular Physical education according to the syllabus.The "Psychological Health of College Students" scale was used,and the class was measured by group measurement method in the first week before the experiment and after the experimental intervention.Research result:(1)After 12 weeks of experimental intervention,the Physical fitness of college students was 50 meters,and there was no interaction between time and group(P<0.05).There was no difference in endurance quality and flexibility.(2)After 12 weeks of experimental intervention,the mental health of college students had interactions with time and group in anxiety,depression,social withdrawal,mental illness tendency and total score(P<0.05),inferiority and sexual Psychological disorder.The main effect of time,forcing,and dependence(P<0.05).Analysis conclusion:(1)After 12 weeks of table tennis teaching experiments,the physical quality of college students has improved significantly in speed quality and strength;there is no significant impact on endurance quality and flexibility.(2)After 12 weeks of table tennis teaching experiments,college students have a significant improvement in anxiety,depression,social withdrawal,and mental illness.
