An Exploration Of Chorus Activities In The Middle School Affiliated To The Minzu University Of China

In 2018,the general secretary Xi Jinping stressed at the national education conference that it is needed to strengthen patriotism education and make patriotism spirit firmly root in the hearts of students.Regular High School Music Curriculum Standards(2017 version)points out that music is the important carrier of human history and culture,and it contains rich historical contents and humanistic connotation.It can be seen that music also contains revolutionary history and patriotism spirit.VWhile music practice is one of the modes to perceive,learn and cultivate patriotism spirit.Combination of music practice with classroom teaching can enhance the aesthetic perception,artistic expression ability and culture understanding capacity of students.Chorus activity belongs to music practice.Wherein,class chorus activity bases on class and integrates music with culture,which is helpful for students to establish correct view of life,value and world view.This paper adopts the modes of questionnaire survey on students,interview with teachers and observation to conduct research on the chorus activity of "12·9"class in the case school.This paper consists of three parts.Part ? introduces the situation of the case school.Part ? conducts investigation on the chorus activity of "12·9"class,including analysis on chorus song selection,chorus rehearsal arrangement and chorus rehearsal situation.Part ? analyzes and summarizes the effect and insufficiency of chorus activity of "12·9" class.The chorus activity of the school plays positive role to cultivate the patriotism spirit of students,strengthen class cohesion and enhance students'enthusiasm.In addition,the chorus activity of the school also exists with defects:firstly,the students have uneven ability in identification of musical notation and lack of enthusiasm in chorus activity owing to no guidance.Secondly,the students have incomplete understanding of the relationship between the history of the school and the history of "12.9".Thirdly,the rehearsal time is not fixed to affect the rehearsal schedule.Based on the advantages and disadvantages of chorus activity of the "12·9" class,the author thinks about the activity and summarizes the reference significance of this activity to same-kind chorus activities in school.
