With the rapid development of physiology and psychology, the psychological problems of junior high school students are increasing day by day.Among them, the proportion of physiological and psychological problems caused by bullying is increasing(Griffin&Gross,2004),and there are many negative results, including the decrease of friendship quality and self-esteem level(Chen Shiping&Le Guoan,2002).As an important indicator to evaluate peer relationships, friendship quality plays a protective role in children's social adaptation(Min Xu&Yang Lizhu,2013),and plays an irreplaceable role in the process of individual socialization.Self-esteem is an emotional experience produced by individuals on the basis of judging their own values.Research has found that self-esteem can predict the quality of friendship of individuals.Youth is in a turbulent period of life development. It is necessary to help students improve the quality of friendship and interpersonal skills caused by bullying. In recent years, there have been many researches on the maladjustment of primary and secondary school students being bullied, but there are few researches on the friendship quality of bullied students and how to help bullied students improve the status quo of being bullied. In view of this, this study first analyzes the relationship between bullying, friendship quality and self-esteem of junior high school students, and on this basis constructs an intermediary mechanism model of self-esteem between bullying and friendship quality, and then adopts intervention research design to improve the self-esteem level of bullied students and their friendship quality. This study is divided into two parts:study one uses the bullied questionnaire, the self-esteem questionnaire and the friendship quality questionnaire to investigate 1687 junior high school students in grade one and grade two.the purpose is to explore the characteristics of bullying, friendship quality and self-esteem of junior high school students and the relationship among the three variables,so as to provide theoretical support for the intervention study of study two.Research 2 is a group psychological counseling intervention study on self-esteem of junior high school students who have been bullied, aiming at improving the self-esteem level of bullied students, improving the quality of their friendship, and then helping them to improve the status quo of being bullied.Based on the results of peer nomination and self-report,36 students who had been bullied in a township middle school in Shaanxi province were selected and randomly divided into an intervention group and a control group. The intervention group received group counseling twice a week for a total of 5 weeks, while the control group received no treatment. The intervention results were evaluated by questionnaire survey, school leadership feedback and member feedback. The conclusions of this study are as follows:1.There are significant gender and grade differences in bullying of junior high school students.Boys experience more physical bullying and relationship bullying than girls, and junior high school students experience more bullying than junior high school students.2.Bullying significantly negatively predicted students' self-esteem and friendship quality;Self-esteem positively predicts the friendship quality of students.Self-esteem has a significant mediating effect between bullying and friendship quality.Research 1 confirms the original research hypothesis and provides strong support for intervention research on junior high school students' self-esteem.3.Being bullied affects students' self-esteem level, thus affecting the quality of their friendship.4.Self-esteem group counseling can significantly improve students' self-esteem level and friendship quality of bullied students, and intervention has immediate and delayed effects.
